Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Sontronics SATURN 2 is a completely redesigned multi-directional large-diaphragm condenser condenser microphone. It incorporates British-designed electronics, top-quality components and precision-engineered parts to guarantee remarkably accurate capture and pure sound response.
The SATURN 2 is distinguished by its innovative digitally encoded controller, allowing selection of nine different directional patterns: omnidirectional, sub-cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-of-eight, as well as four intermediate positions. This digital control ensures that precise voltages are sent to the front and rear of the capsule, guaranteeing perfect consistency between several microphones.
With high sensitivity and extremely low background noise, this microphone features filters and PAD controls. The brand’s signature smooth high-frequency response makes it a versatile tool for recording vocals, pianos, string quartets or solo brass instruments, delivering mix-ready results.
